Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon EV with a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which helps it deliver a driving range of 312 km on a single charge. The car accelerates to 100 kmph in just 9.14 seconds, and has 127 bhp of power and 245 Nm of torque on offer.
In October last year, Tata announced that it had registered sales of over 10,000 EVs in India. The carmaker is currently a mile in the four wheeler EV space in the country with a share of over 70 per cent in the passenger segment. Let us inform that Tata Motors has recently launched the dark edition of Nexon EV, which is called Nexon Dark. Apart from the Dark Edition, the Nexon EV is available in three other variants in India.

Prices of the Nexon EV start at ₹14.29 lakh (ex-showroom), and go up to ₹16.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for its top-spec Dark XZ+ Lux variant. The Nexon can be charged up to 80 percent within an hour using a DC fast charger. However, it takes up to 8.30 hours to charge it from 10 percent to 90 percent using a regular home charger.
