Illegal taxis have been avoiding the eyes of the traffic department, RTO and traffic police are backing down from taking action
Tikamgarh (Representative of New Zealand).
The traffic department and administration should make every effort to improve the traffic system of the city, but the glut of taxis and illegal transport is not taking its name. The movement of taxis in the city has blocked the roads. The administration is oblivious to the accidents that happen every day. Whether it is a blue stripe or a yellow one, it doesn’t matter now. Whatever the color, it will run in the city only. It is being told that in the case of illegal taxis, the RTO and traffic police have been deliberately ignoring such vehicles. Overall, the traffic police is watching these cases as mute spectators.
Significantly, the narrow square of the city has turned into an illegal taxi stand. On the main road from morning till late night, taxis parked in the middle of the road are jammed here. In such a situation, disputes with passers-by are inevitable. Many accidents have happened so far due to buses and heavy vehicles coming out of here. People are facing problems due to the derailment of the traffic system. There is a daily jam on various routes including Salsagar to Gandhi Chauraha, Gandhi Chauraha to Papaura Chauraha. No concrete steps are being taken by the administration to get rid of the jam.
There is a jam on the valley of Papoura intersection
Innumerable taxis are parked all day on the valley built at Papoura crossroads, which causes trouble to the girls, especially the girls living in the street of Atuta. Not only this, it has become difficult for common people to get out of the city’s Salasagar intersection. Traffic workers are also seen helpless here. The arbitrariness of taxi drivers in front of their eyes remains a matter of discussion among the people. On a daily basis, there is a dispute regarding the removal of taxis on the roads. Not only this, in most taxis, many times the number of passengers are seen sitting. The top officials of the department also take this serious matter lightly, after a major accident, it remains hot for a few days and then the matter has come.
One-way trophic system died
In view of the increasing number of taxis in the city and the day-to-day jams, the district administration and the city administration had implemented one-way traffic facility in the city. The interesting thing is that only those running this facility forgot that one-way facility is applicable in the city. Arbitrary movement of government vehicles and standing in the desired manner is common. As far as the traffic rules are concerned, only the responsible people are seen sitting for three to four on the bike. The deteriorating traffic system has marginalized the administration. Concrete steps need to be taken in this regard. So that accidents can be prevented.
Trucks collided and overturned taxis
So far, many vehicle accidents have taken place in the city and the adjoining areas. If you look at the Papaura intersection alone, more than a dozen accidents have happened so far. In this area, many trucks entered the houses and temples by breaking the wall and many taxis overturned, even after all these accidents, the taxi stand here has not been removed yet. Arbitrarily run taxis and misbehavior of drivers have been ignored for a long time. Not only this, arbitrariness has also been done regarding the fare of taxis. Rate list at intersections is missing. In the absence of a rate list at the station and bus stand, more money is charged from the passengers coming from outside. In taxis, passengers are arbitrarily filled from places where cameras are installed. The use of these cameras is still beyond the understanding of the people. They can be used to stop illegal vehicles.
A campaign will be launched to improve the traffic system in the city. However, action is also taken by the police from time to time. But still we will focus on making the traffic easy.
