Kawardha (Naiduniya News). State President of Chhattisgarh Teachers Congress, Anil Shukla, has demanded the Chief Minister and the Education Minister to postpone the order, opposing the reduction in summer vacation. Shukla has said that after April 15, when the entire state starts scorching with heat, then schools in most of the districts take only three to four hours in the morning shift for April 30 on the orders of the District Collector. More than 10 percent of Badho do not come to school. In May, when the temperature of the country will be 44 to 45 degrees, then who will send their parents cool.
He said that earlier teachers used to get Dussehra, Deepawali, Winter and Summer holidays for a total of 90 days. Therefore, he was declared an employee of the Sabbath Leave Department. The remaining employees and officers have been given 30 days earned leave in a year considering them as non-vocational employees. They get a holiday on the second and third Saturday of every month. Today, in the present situation, due to five days of office, the employee with less holidays is getting a total of 87 days of leave in a year, excluding public holidays. At the same time, the total holiday of Dussehra, Diwali, Winter and Summer has become 53 days, excluding the public holiday for the teacher who has got more leave. They have demanded 30 days earned leave in a year like other employees, demanding setting up of five days of school in a week throughout the year.
