Captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first and invited the opposing team Afghanistan to bowl. Gulbadin Naib, who came to bat for Afghanistan, tried to increase the mountain of runs by contributing 57 runs to his team. But his attempt was thoroughly foiled by the bowlers of the Indian team. Arshdeep Singh, who came to bowl for Team India, sent not one or two, but three batsmen of Afghanistan to the pavilion.
