Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was met by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday and invited him to visit the Teej festival being held in Jaipur. Earlier on Tuesday, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has also invited Governor Shri Haribhau Bagde to visit the Teej festival. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani has also been invited on Tuesday to attend the Teej festival. The entire cabinet of the state is also being invited on the occasion. MLA and councilor and public representatives of Jaipur are also being invited to attend the Teej festival.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Diya Kumari said that Teej Utsav is an opportunity for the younger generation to get into the colorful culture traditions of Rajasthan. He informed that this time Teej festival will be celebrated on a large scale. He informed that about 200 folk artists, who are expected to be held in the folk arts of Rajasthan, will overwhelm the domestic foreign tourists who come here, including the people who have been in the grandeur of Rajasthan.
Participation should be done in large numbers
The Deputy Chief Minister was presented the outline of the entire program by the Tourism Department.
According to the tradition of Jaipur, the Deputy Chief Minister said that more and more women should be involved in the event. On this occasion, he gave instructions for participation by publicly inviting women to visit maximum numbers.
Women Pandit will also worship
Diya Kumari told that this time there will also be a female pundit to worship Teej Mata. Along with this, there will be a tableau of women separately. At the same time, Aarti Puja of Teej ride will be done by putting a big platform on July 27 on Chhoti Chaupar. A two -day fair will be held at Pondric Park.
Worship on Chhoti Chaupar
The Deputy Chief Minister said that this time, Teej Mata ride will be worshiped with grandeur by putting a big platform on a small chaupad. In which the Rajyapal, Chief Minister and Assembly Speaker are possible to join. He informed that arts will also be performed there by folk artists.
Live broadcast
The Deputy Chief Minister said that along with a live broadcast of Teej Utsav from various channels, the help of DOIT will be shown on about 200 screens in the whole of Rajasthan.
Grand procession
The Deputy Chief Minister said that in the grand procession of Teej Mata, there will be a lust of elephants, camels, horses, bulls, bands, shehnai-nagaras. Along with this, there will also be folk artists who display the color of Rajasthan with their arts.
Women’s fair
Diya Kumari said that a special Teej fair will be organized for women in Pondric Park.
He said that on Teej festival, the women of Jaipur wear colorful Rajasthani traditional costumes, adorns, waves, swing and eat delicious sweets like ghevar and also shop in markets. Keeping this in mind, this time Teej fair will be organized for women in Pondric Park.
Craft market
A craft market of goods prepared by women will be set up at the fair in Pondric Park. The fair will arrange for women with food stalls, swings for women, hard work. He told that arts performed by folk artists in Pondric Park
