New Delhi. The problem of stray dogs roaming on the streets across the country including the capital Delhi is becoming increasingly rare. Former Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Goel has started a big mass movement on this serious issue. As part of this campaign, Vijay Goel has called for a large scale demonstration at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 27 April. To give wide public support to this demonstration, Vijay Goyal is meeting people in various areas of Delhi and is trying to give it the form of mass movement.
In this episode, Vijay Goyal reached Rohini Sector-3 in Delhi on Sunday, where he held a detailed discussion with the local people on the problem of stray dogs. A large number of local people were present during this period.
Vijay Goyal not only heard the problems of the people, but also asked for his suggestions and also shared his views to solve this problem. He said, “The problem of stray dogs has now become a big issue. Many people have fallen victim to these dog attacks even in areas like Rohini. Our first and most important demand is that all stray dogs be sterilized 100 percent.”
Goyal further said that to solve this problem, Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD), Delhi Government and Central Government will have to form a concrete strategy. This is not limited to Delhi only, but this problem has taken a serious form in every corner of the country.
Terror of stray dogs in Delhi make headlines. From time to time such cases come up when these dogs attack innocent children, elderly and passers-by. The increase in these attacks in recent years has created an atmosphere of fear among the common people. Especially in residential areas, children and elders are becoming the easiest victims of this danger. In view of these circumstances, Vijay Goyal has decided to raise the issue seriously.
During a conversation with people in Rohini, Goyal said that his purpose is not only to perform, but to create a system that can find a permanent solution to this problem. He suggested that special shelter sites should be built for stray dogs along with sterilization and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should also be included for their care. In addition, he appealed to the people to take part in this movement enthusiastically, so that the government and the administration could be pressurized.
This movement of Vijay Goyal has become a matter of discussion among the people of Delhi. Local people are supporting this initiative and considering it an essential step. At the same time, preparations are in full swing for the performance to be held at Jantar Mantar on 27 April. Goyal says that this performance will work not only to spread awareness about this problem in Delhi, but also in the whole country. He appealed to the people to join this campaign and raise their voice unitedly to get rid of stray dogs terror.
