Udhampur. Even after changing the government in Pakistan, it has no intention to stop terrorist activities in India and especially in Kashmir. 200 terrorists are ambushed for infiltration across the LoC in Pakistan. 35 terrorist camps and all launch pads are also run by Pakistan Army and intelligence agency ISI. This has been disclosed by the Commander of the Northern Command of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi. Lt Gen Dwivedi had arrived in Udhampur on Friday to participate in the ‘North Tech Symposium’. There he said that the situation is changing rapidly and the army needs to be prepared to deal with this change. He said that the army will have to use new techniques to surprise the enemy.
The army commander said that terrorists have set up many camps in Pakistan. All these camps are close to Pakistani Army installations. Lt Gen Dwivedi told that 6 of these are camp chiefs. Apart from this, there are 29 more small camps. Pakistan Army and ISI are trying to send terrorists across the LoC by training them here. He said that ceasefire is going on between India and Pakistan since February 2021. Talking about the last one year, apart from sporadic firing, the armies of both the countries have followed the ceasefire. Along with this, the army is engaged in stopping the infiltration of terrorists at any cost. He said that the army is not going to give any chance to any infiltrator to spread terrorism.
This statement of Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi is making it clear that no government of Pakistan and its army can be trusted. He said that the army is keeping an eye on the enemy’s every move and the jawans are keeping a constant vigil night and day to thwart him. Upendra Dwivedi, referring to the encounters in the Kashmir Valley in the recent past, said that the jawans will not give any chance to any terrorist to escape.
