Manish Sisodia
India TV has taken an exclusive interview of Manish Sisodia after his release from Tihar Jail. In this interview, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish, while answering questions, said, “I did not think that I would have to stay in jail for 17 months for an allegation that has been written in the form of Manohar stories. I would say that when you come into politics and want to fight, you have to be ready to go to jail.” Regarding flag hoisting on 15 August, he said that our recommendation to LG sahab was that the Chief Minister should hoist the flag, but Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in jail. Many times when the Chief Minister is not there, the ministers hoist the flag. We requested the Lieutenant Governor to authorize a minister.
Manish Sisodia said – there has been no scam
Manish Sisodia said in his interview that many times it happens in states that when the Chief Minister is not there, the minister hoists the tricolor flag and not the governor. Our request was that the democratically elected government should hoist the flag. We had made the same recommendation to the LG. Regarding the liquor scam, he said that there was no liquor scam. This is like Manohar Kathayun. He said that when BJP started making allegations, they said big things. First they said there was a scam of 10 thousand crores. While filing the FIR, they said there was a scam of 100 crores. While going to the court, they said that there was a scam of 45 crores. When the court asked where is the 45 crores, BJP said that someone has given a statement.
Liquor merchant donated money to BJP: Sisodia
He said that in court, ED said that we have to take lollipop statements. People have to be threatened. He said that if the Excise Minister will not sign the Excise documents then who will. Manish Sisodia said that catch any one person, put him in jail and make him give a donation of 60 crores to BJP and then say that you trap Arvind Kejriwal. BJP took a donation of 60 crores from the same liquor merchant through electoral statement. Then got him to give a statement against Arvind Kejriwal. Manish Sisodia said, “Even when the CM was in jail, the Delhi Government ran brilliantly. I don’t think that after independence, such a crisis would have come upon any party that the CM was put in jail, party people were threatened. Despite this, the party and the government ran brilliantly.”
