The death of Rishika Sinha alias Meena, who works as a software engineer in Delhi, has shocked everyone. Rishika’s body was found hanging from the noose in her in -laws located in Palamu district of Jharkhand, causing sensation in the area. This incident is as painful as it is as suspicious. The family members of the deceased have made serious allegations against the in -laws’ side, calling it a murder.

Married five days ago

Rishika was married to Anuj Kumar Sinha, a resident of Dhangardiha village in Palamu on 17 May. Anuj is a government employee at the Ordinance Factory in Jabalpur, while Rishika was working as a software engineer in a prestigious Delhi -based company. Just five days after the marriage, the news of Rishika’s death came, which has put her maternal uncle in deep shock.

Dead body was found hanging from fan, suicide or murder?

On Thursday night, it was reported by the in -laws’ side that Rishika had committed suicide and her body was found hanging in the room with a dupatta. On Friday, Rishika’s father Mahendra Prasad got this information, after which he immediately reached Palamu with his family. They allege that the story of this suicide is an attempt to hide a well -planned murder.

Accused of dowry demand and harassment

Mahendra Prasad has lodged an FIR at Nawajipur police station, alleging that Rishika was being tortured for dowry from the very next day of marriage. He said that at the wedding, he had given gifts of about five lakh rupees to the groom’s side, despite this, Rishika was being pressurized to bring dowry. He was preparing to bring his daughter back from her in -laws that her death was reported.

FIR nominated against seven people including husband

The FIR has named husband Anuj Kumar Sinha, her father Alakh Niranjan Prasad, mother Saraswati Devi, and Dewar Avinash, Anoop, Anand and Anurag Kumar Sinha as accused. It is alleged that everyone together tortured Rishika physically and mentally, which caused her death.

Police engaged in investigation, waiting for post mortem report

Nawjaypur police station in -charge Kamal Kishore Pandey said that the body has been taken in possession and sent to Medinirai Medical College Hospital for post -mortem. According to Sadar SDPO Manibhushan Prasad, the police is investigating with all the angles and further action will be taken based on the post -mortem report.

Family is demanding justice

Rishika’s untimely death has broken her family. His father has said that he needs an impartial inquiry into the entire case and the culprits should be punished strictly, so that no other daughter is a victim of such barbarity in the future.

This case again raises serious questions about dowry system and women safety. It is expected from both the law and the society that the victim will definitely get justice.
