According to police sources, the 27 -year -old victim lives in Kaushik Enclave. He was upset for a long time due to not getting married. One day a man (middleman) from the village came to meet his warts living in Burari village. She told that she knows a woman named Sangeeta, who works to connect the relationship. On March 24, the person met the woman. The woman was taken from Burari to Madhuban Chowk to a park at Shahabad delay. According to the young man, he was accompanied by his mother, warts and middlemen. He met a girl. The girl was allegedly accompanied by her sister and three women.
According to the young man, he and his family liked the girl. The middleman told that the girl is from a poor family. He has no parents. His aunt takes care of him. She is asking for two lakh rupees for marriage. On this, the family agreed to give money. Three days later, the woman insisted on getting married on 27 March. The family members of the young man said that they would get married after Navratri, but the girl’s family started pressurizing. According to the boy, he said yes in compulsion. The wedding was scheduled in Arya Samaj Mandir Rohini Sector-18.
His family members bought gold coils, rings, mangalsutra, anklets, nettle and clothes for the bride. On 27 March, all Arya Samaji reached the temple. The family put clothes and jewelery in the daughter -in -law’s lap. The young man claims that after marriage, he gave 2 lakh rupees to the girl in the temple itself. All rituals and customs were completed at home. According to the young man, the wife started saying that her health is not good. Her blood pressure is low and she is very tired. After this she slept separately.
The young man alleges that the wife kept talking to her alleged sister on mobile overnight. Even after getting up in the morning, she kept talking on the phone. Then she left the house on the pretext of bathing. A taxi was parked at some distance. He also started walking with a bike behind the taxi. After a while the taxi disappeared. He then called the police at home. The wife’s phone was closed. It is alleged that on the contact, the wife’s younger sister started threatening to implicate her. The police searched for the absconding bride and her family, but could not find out.
The young man alleges that his family himself investigated and it was found that the girl’s Aadhaar card and PAN card are fake. The alleged bride has already done many such fake marriages. They allege that this is a married gang, who escapes by looting. It is alleged that the wife also took gifts, jewelery and cash found. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
