New Delhi. In his Independence Day speech, the Prime Minister also mentioned the new education policy and Nalanda University. He said that Bihar has a glorious history, here we have rebuilt Nalanda University. Nalanda University has started working once again, but we will have to awaken that centuries-old Nalanda spirit once again in the field of education.
The Nalanda spirit has to be lived, with great faith in that Nalanda spirit, we have to work to give new consciousness to the traditions of knowledge of the world. The Prime Minister said that many states have taken good steps on the new education policy. Due to this, the new education policy has a big role in the emphasis we want to give to our education system in accordance with the 21st century and the way we want to prepare the human race for a developed India.
The Prime Minister said that I do not want the youth of my country to be forced to study abroad. When middle class families send their children abroad to study, lakhs and crores of rupees are spent. We want to establish such a system so that the youth of our country do not have to go abroad to study. Middle class families do not have to spend lakhs and crores of rupees. Not only this, such institutions should be built so that students from abroad come to India to study.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing all the educational institutions of the country said that language should not be a hindrance to the talent of our country. The education policy has emphasized on mother tongue. Language should not be a barrier. Support of mother tongue gives the youth of our country, even the son of a poor mother, the strength to fulfill their dreams. We have to emphasize on mother tongue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the country from the ramparts of Red Fort said that we have to move ahead with new heights and new enthusiasm. We are not the people who are satisfied with what has happened, this is not in our culture. We want to move ahead to cross new heights. To make development and prosperity a reality, we want to make it our nature, we want to make it the nature of the countrymen to spend our lives with determination.
The Prime Minister said that the kind of change that is being seen in the world today, the importance of skill increases a lot in it. We want to give a new strength to skill. We want skill development. We want skill development in every field of life, by building capacity in the agriculture sector. Whether it is the field of sanitation, we want to emphasize on a new skill development in that too.
We have brought the Skill India program in a very comprehensive manner this time. In this budget, we have also emphasized on internships, so that our youth get experience. Their strength can be seen in the market. I want to prepare the youth for this in this way. The Prime Minister said that in view of the situation in the world, we are moving ahead with the dream of India’s skilled manpower in the global job market.
