Chandigarh Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said that the law and order situation in Haryana is getting worse from bad and the warnings given to criminals by issuing posters by the Chief Minister are now only media headlines. The ground reality is that the criminals are committing the incidents in broad daylight and the general public is feeling completely insecure. Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior leader of Jannayak Janata Party Dushyant Chautala has expressed deep concern over the ever -increasing criminal incidents in the state and has questioned the working style of the government. Dushyant Chautala, especially referring to two fresh incidents in Jind district, said that on the one hand the Chief Minister warns criminals in the morning and on the other hand there is bloodshed in the state by evening.
On Friday, a liquor contractor was shot dead in broad daylight in Jind, showing how much the organized criminals are strong. At the same time, in the second incident, two real sisters were firing fatal firing, which has not only raised serious questions on the safety of women, but also proves that criminals have no fear of law.
Dushyant said that in the CM film dialogue, the CM asks criminals to leave Haryana, but businessmen and common people are seen to leave Haryana. Dushyant Chautala, citing other incidents of last few days, said that lakhs of robbery from businessman in Karnal, shooting of youth in Faridabad, liquor contractor shot and killed in Shahabad, molestation of student in Rohtak, incidents of demanding ransom in Sirsa, gangwar in Rohtak and continuous theft in Hisar-Bhiwani have been created in the entire state.
He said that this is the situation when the Chief Minister himself is also taking charge as the Home Minister. In such a situation, not only administrative failure is coming out, but there is also a serious lack of political will. JJP leader Dushyant Chautala alleged that the Haryana government is only making rhetoric in the name of crime control, while the criminals are seen getting political patronage.
He said that if law and order is not handled by the government, then the Chief Minister should take moral responsibility as Home Minister. He demanded that senior officials in the state be given the responsibility of crime control, the accountability should be fixed at the police station level and strict action should be taken against the organized criminals with immediate effect.
