The crowd erupted in anger at the RG Kar hospital where the doctor was raped and murdered

Kolkata. During a protest against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Thursday midnight, an angry mob entered the hospital campus and vandalised it. Local reports suggest that important items were destroyed in the emergency ward of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

Amidst the doctors’ protest, the mob entered the hospital premises and vandalised the protest site, vehicles and public property. In fact, a large crowd had gathered in the hospital premises to show protest against the rape-murder incident in the hospital.
