The husband and brother-in-law died on the spot in the accident, while the wife gave her life during treatment. According to the police, 28-year-old Bablu Bhati used to run Ranuja Medical Store in Mumbra Market among the dead. He tied the knot with Meena on December 26 last year and to celebrate his anniversary, he along with his brother-in-law, 27-year-old Hemraj, had gone for dinner in a triple ride on a friend’s Ektiva at Ai Hotel on the Mumbai-Nashik highway.
When they were coming back after having dinner at the hotel late in the night, both of them were hit by someone on the Mumbai-Nashik highway. After which some people informed the police at four o’clock in the night and the police team reached the spot.
Police reached the spot and took possession of the dead bodies of husband Bablu and brother-in-law Hemraj while Meena, who was unconscious, was taken to a nearby hospital. Where he died during treatment. According to the police, the trio had collapsed in a corner after the accident took place on the main highway.
