A shocking incident has come to light from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh. A newly married woman was murdered by her in -laws just two months after her marriage was not met in the district. The police gave this information on Thursday. The incident is from Gopiganj police station area of the district, where 22 -year -old Roshni Vishwakarma died under suspicious circumstances.
Accused of strangling murder
According to the police, the deceased’s in -laws are calling it a case of suicide, while Roshni’s mother has accused her husband and in -laws of strangling and killing him. Inspector -in -charge of Gopiganj police station, Amit Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against husband Pradeep Vishwakarma, mother -in -law Radha Devi, father -in -law Balaram and sister -in -law Poonam Vishwakarma under the relevant sections of the deceased. Harassment started after marriage
According to the FIR, Roshni, a resident of ward number-4 of Gopiganj police station, was married to Pradeep Vishwakarma, a resident of Sadashiv Patti village of Koiruna police station area on 6 March 2025. It has been alleged in the FIR that Pradeep’s family members said to marry a second marriage on 31 May after not getting dowry in mass marriage. After this, Roshni’s in -laws started harassing her since the second marriage and constantly demanded gold jewelery and cash.
Left the dead body 20 kilometers away
It has also been alleged in the FIR that Roshni was killed by in -laws on June 15 for not meeting the demand for dowry. After this, with the intention of eradicating evidence, he brought Roshni’s body to Gopiganj Community Health Center, about 20 km from her in -laws. The station in -charge said that the entire case is being investigated in depth and the police will soon take action against the culprits.
