New Delhi. Corona cases are not taking the name of ending yet, while on the other hand a new virus has knocked in the country. Actually, the report of a virus named monkeypox of a person who returned from the United Nations has been found positive. Accordingly, the first case of monkeypox has also been confirmed in the country. This case is of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. As soon as the patient reached Thiruvananthapuram, he was admitted to the local hospital. After this it was found that the symptoms of monkeypox were found in this person. After all this, the patient’s samples were collected and sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune. Later it became clear that the person is monkeypox positive.
Now the statement of Kerala Health Minister Veena George has also come to the fore. He has said that “One monkeypox positive case has been found. This patient has returned from UAE. Who came to Kerala on 12 July. He reached Trivandrum airport and all steps have been taken as per the guidelines issued by WHO- ICMR.
Further, the Health Minister said that “Kerala Health Department has issued guidelines regarding this. The patient’s condition is stable and all his organs are normal. The primary contacts have been identified and his parents, taxi driver, auto driver and 11 passengers of the same flight who were in the adjacent seats. He said that there is nothing to panic about it. All steps are being taken and the patients are stable.”
