In order to go to the tourist destination Pokhara from Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, the flight of Yeti airline caught fire before landing and crashed between the recently started Pokhara International Airport and the old Pokhara Airport. There were 68 passengers on board the plane and four crew members.

Many foreign tourists including Indians became victims of the accident.
Kathmandu is one of the most popular places for Indian tourists because of Pashupatinath Darshan. Due to Makar Sankranti, a large number of Indian tourists reach Kathmandu to visit Pashupatinath. It is estimated that many Indian tourists and other foreign tourists have been victims of the accident in this flight as well.
