RJD’s allies in the ‘Grand Alliance’ have always respected the Chief Minister…” According to sources, Tejashwi had also mentioned many surprising incidents in the state. He said, “The Chief Minister used to sit with me on the stage and ask, “What was there in Bihar before 2005?” I never reacted… Now, more people are with us. Whatever was left incomplete in two decades, we managed to complete it in a short time – be it jobs, caste census, increasing reservation etc. Tejashwi also reportedly said that ‘the game is yet to be played in Bihar’.
8 MLAs will be left less
It is noteworthy that RJD is the main alliance partner in the ‘Grand Alliance’, which also includes three Left parties and Congress. If Kumar’s JDU withdraws, then eight members will be left short of majority in the assembly. At present there are 243 MLAs in Bihar Assembly, including 79 from RJD, 78 from BJP, 45 from JDU, 19 from Congress, 12 from CPI (M-L), two from CPI (M) and two from CPI. Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) has four seats, AIMIM has one and one independent representative.
