New Delhi,. The absence of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during a sharp debate on the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha has been criticized by the BJP and accused them of neglecting the Muslim community, which they often claim to advocate.
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya targeted the absence of both prominent Congress MPs during a discussion in the Lok Sabha on the social media platform X on the social media platform X.
Amit Malviya said, “The Muslim community should understand that they are nothing more than the Congress and Gandhi family. Despite the Congress whip, Priyanka Vadra was not in Parliament on the day when the Waqf Amendment Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha. The leader of the Lok Sabha and the self -proclaimed Messiah Rahul Gandhi of the Muslims in the Lok Sabha had time, yet he did not think it was necessary to speak on the bill. The family and the Congress left Muslims, whose representation they claim. “
It is noteworthy that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary and Lok Sabha member from Wayanad, was also absent from the House despite the Congress whip. The absence of Gandhi brothers and sisters during the debate on the Waqf Bill shocked the people.
