This reduces activity after exercise. In such a condition, body temperature may decrease and weight may increase. Researchers conducted this study on rats. In this study, rats that did vigorous exercise on the treadmill for 30 minutes showed a decrease in their core body temperature and physical activity. By doing this for several weeks, the weight of the high intensity rats increased.
Researchers claim that the rats that ran fast for 30 minutes on the treadmill were the least active in 24 hours and this resulted in an increase in their weight. The author of this research, Takashi Matsui, says that based on the experience of people who feel very tired while walking after strenuous exercise, it can be believed that the results of this study can have a similar effect on humans.
Experts who do research say that people who are trying to lose weight through exercise should reduce the intensity of their workout. Otherwise, instead of benefit, there can be loss and weight can increase. In today’s era, a large number of people are trying to improve their fitness through heavy workouts by going to the gym, but they should do only moderate workouts.
