A heartbreaking case has come to light from Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shook the entire area. Raghuveer Singh, a 50 -year -old prosperous farmer living in Bachauli village of Kurara police station area of the district, committed suicide by hanging himself. It is being told that the farmer took this dreadful step due to allegations of false molestation by a woman, demand of Rs 10 lakh and threatening to roam the village by wearing a garland of shoes.
Farmers were under stress after the woman’s allegation
The deceased farmer Raghuveer Singh had a dispute with a woman from the village over something. After this, the woman went to the police station and filed a case of molestation against Raghuveer. The police reached the village the same evening and returned by directing the farmer to appear in the police station in the morning. This incident was the beginning of Raghuveer Singh’s mental stress.
Did not come out of the room in the morning, found hanging corpse
The next morning when Raghuveer did not come out of his room, the family was worried. Even if there was no response even after knocking on the door, he broke the door. Everyone was surprised to see the inside view. Raghuveer Singh’s body was hanging on the noose. The police was immediately informed, who reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
10 lakh rupees was sought by threatening
Ajay Singh, nephew of the deceased, said that the woman came to Raghuveer’s house with some of her people shortly after the police left the village. He had demanded Rs 10 lakh from uncle and threatened to move the false trial, blackened his face, and to roam the village by wearing a garland of shoes. Raghuveer Singh committed suicide with this fear and insult.
Mourning in family, police engaged in investigation
After Raghuveer’s death, the whole family is in shock and there is a wave of mourning in the village. The family is calling it a well-planned conspiracy and demanding action on the culprits. Kurara police station in -charge Nandram Prajapati said that in preliminary investigation, the matter seems to be of suicide. He said, “The entire case is being investigated on the basis of Tahrir received from family members. Strict legal action will be taken against whoever is found guilty of provoking suicide.”
