Jodhpur. The grand ‘Shri Krishna Janmotsav’ was organized by Shyam Bhakti Seva Sansthan in collaboration with Shri Geeta Prachar Mandal, which was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm. A unique confluence of religious, cultural and social harmony was seen in this event.
The main attraction of the program was attractive tableaux in the forms of Radha-Krishna presented by boys and girls, which all the devotees became emotional. All participating children were honored and awarded prizes. In making the event special, there were special performances of the jawans of BSF band and blind artists of Rajasthan Divyang Seva Samiti, who mesmerized the audience with their art.
Organizing committee chairman Monika Prajapat said that Mahamandaleshwar Someshwar Giri Maharaj, Senacharya Achalanand Giri Maharaj and Ramsnehi Saint Ramprasad Maharaj gave the devotees to the devotees in this grand program of Shri Krishna Janmotsav. IG ML of Border Security Force Garg and Police Commissioner Omprakash were present as special guests. All the guests worshiped Lord Krishna.
On this occasion, a ‘Radha-Krishna quiz competition’ was also organized, in which 300 questions related to the life of Lord Krishna and the history of Jodhpur were asked. 300 winners who gave correct answers were also awarded prizes. Several members of the organizing committee, such as Hemant Lalwani, Jagdish Kumar, Lucky Goyal, Krishna Gaur, Naveen Bhati, Neetu Kachhwaha and others were instrumental in making the program a success. Members of BSF Jazz band and artists of Rajasthan Divyang Seva Samiti were also honored on the occasion. Vineet Bansal, Deputy Commissioner of Western Region, also attended this devotional event with his family.
