Dungarpur. A groom got seriously injured in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. Here two grooms had come to their in-laws’ house with wedding processions to marry two real sisters. But because the bride of one was a minor, the administration stopped his marriage. According to the information, this case is of Dungar Saran Gram Panchayat of Kua police station area of Dungarpur district. There was a wedding of two real sisters there on Sunday. For this, both the grooms had come with a wedding procession. Both the marriage processions had come from different villages. Meanwhile, someone complained on the child helpline of the Child Empowerment Department that one of the brides was a minor. On receiving information about this, the police, child help line and Shrishti Seva Samiti team reached the wedding ceremony.

As soon as the police and administration arrived, there was a stir in the wedding ceremony. There he asked for documents related to the date of birth of the brides. In this, the elder bride was 19 years old i.e. an adult, but her younger sister i.e. the second bride turned out to be 16 years 6 days old. On this, the police and Child Line issued orders to restrain the family members to stop this marriage. Due to this, there was disappointment in the marriage ceremony. The family could not do anything and the second groom became disheartened.
