Scattered light to moderate rain and similar weather conditions (winds of 30-40 kmph) are expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the same period. Isolated heavy rains are expected over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry-Karaikal, Kerala-Mahe, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep till May 21, with very heavy rains predicted in some areas.

Heat wave conditions are possible in Gujarat, Rajasthan, parts of Punjab and Haryana.
