New Delhi. Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat addressed the inaugural session of the lecture chain ‘100 -year journey of the Sangh: New Horizon’ held at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi on Tuesday on the occasion of the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
He highlighted the ideology, objectives and its global role of the Sangh in his detailed speech.
Dr. Bhagwat said that the concept of Hindu nation is often associated with political power or governance, which is a completely misinterpretation.
He clarified, “When we say ‘Hindu Rashtra’, some people get confused. ‘Nation’ in English means ‘Nation’, which is associated with the western ideology and the joint of ‘state’ in it. India’s nationality has been in existence for thousands of years, it does not depend on who is in power.”
He further said, “Hindu nation means justice for all, without any discrimination.”
He said, “We have the same DNA for the last 40,000 years.” Hindavi, “Indian, ‘and’ Sanatan” are not just words, but the identity of our civilization. “
Recalling the founder of the Sangh, Dr. KB Hedgewar, he said, “Dr. Saheb had imagined the Sangh before 1925. His aim was to be the organization of the whole Hindu society. He always believed that what he considers himself a Hindu should also be a responsible citizen of the country. This is our responsibility related to our eternal identity.”
Talking about the working style of the Sangh, Sarsanghchalak said, “The Sangh never pleaded with anyone. We have never put a hand in anyone’s property and even when there was a protest, the Sangh has not shown hostility. The Sangh has been self -reliant and has been working with service spirit.”
Talking about India’s global contribution, Dr. Bhagwat said, “The spirit of the Sangh is in the last line of his prayer. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Our mission is to give India a leading place in the world, but not for selfishness. Not for selfishness. To create peace and harmony in the world.”
He quoted Swami Vivekananda, saying, “Every nation has a purpose, and India’s aim is to become a world guru.”
He said, “We do not mean equality in unity here. Our culture teaches unity in diversity. It is the work of the Sangh to connect, organize every section of the society.”
