The Hundred Women Final: The final match of The Hundred Women’s 2024 was played between Welsh Fire and London Spirit. London Spirit won this final match played on Sunday, 18 August by four wickets. Indian star all-rounder Deepti Sharma performed brilliantly with both bat and ball. Due to which London Spirit Women could get the title. Let us tell you that London Spirit has won the title of The Hundred Women for the first time.
An exciting match
Veteran spinner Jess Jonason scored 54 off 41 balls as Welsh Fire posted a challenging 115/8 after batting first. Opener Georgia Redmayne scored 34 but Deepti’s six in the last over for Spirit made the difference. London needed four runs off the last three balls when Deepti hit a six over long-on off Hayley Matthews. With this, the match ended in a thrilling fashion in the last over.
