In this regard, the Municipal Corporation of Bhopal has also started preparations to remove them. Now the corporation staff is collecting information that after 2013, idols have been installed at intersections in the city. These will be marked. After that they will be removed.
Additional commissioner MP Singh told that after 2013, information is being collected about where the new idol has been installed in the city. However, no new statue has been installed anywhere in the last two years. But there are about half a dozen such intersections, where traffic problems were coming. From there the idols have been removed. Among these, the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose, installed at Prabhat Square, was removed from here a year ago and shifted next to the petrol pump. At the same time, during the construction of the flyover in Lalghati, the idol and cannon of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, which was installed at the crossroads, have been installed on the roadside. Whereas earlier, the idol of Shankar Dayal Sharma was removed from the Retghat intersection due to traffic. After this the statue of Chandrashekhar Azad was removed from the Nanke Petrolpump intersection, but the statue of Arjun Singh was to be installed here again. The BJP-Congress came together on this issue and the matter reached the court. Officials say that along with the idols after 2013, other idols will also be removed from the intersections. Due to which the traffic pressure is increasing at the intersections of the city.

Let us inform that after the year 2013, the MP High Court has ordered to remove all the idols installed on the road or public place. The court directed the immediate removal of the statue of former Chief Minister Arjun Singh put up at TT Nagar Chowk in the capital. A petition was filed in the court for this. Taking a jibe at the contradictory statement of the State Government and the Municipal Corporation, Bhopal in this case, a fine of Rs 30,000 has also been imposed. Along with this, the High Court has given strict instructions that in future no idol should be installed on the roads or land of public importance.
