Jaipur. In the capital Jaipur, the Galtagate police station has made a sensational disclosure of the Dilip Sanwaria blind murder case and exposed an interstate gang. The police have arrested four criminals involved in this murder, including 21-year-old Anjali Soni of Gwalior. Dilip was first trapped in a honeytrap. Later, 50 lakh rupees were demanded from him. When the money was not given, the gang killed him in Delhi. Later his body was thrown in a drain there.
DCP North Rashi Dogra Doodi revealed the whole case and said that Anjali Soni, a part of this gang, trapped Dilip Sanwaria, who lives in Galtgate area, in the trap of beauty and had physical relations with him. Then on 20 May, on the pretext of meeting, she called him to Delhi and held him hostage. He was tortured for two days. The gang members made a WhatsApp call to Dilip’s family and demanded Rs 50 lakh. When they did not get the money, they killed Dilip and threw his body in a drain in Delhi. Dilip Sanwaria had left Jaipur on 20 May saying that he was going to Faridabad.
Dilip was held hostage and tortured in a flat in Delhi
The DCP said that in this case, Anjali Soni and her husband Pradeep Goswami, who lives in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, have been arrested. Pradeep drives an e-rickshaw in Jaipur. Apart from these two, Vijay Dhanka of Nangli Delhi and Santosh Kumar of Uttarakhand have also been arrested. The vehicle used during the crime has been seized. In this same vehicle, Dilip was taken to a flat in Nangloi in Delhi and held hostage. The gang members were so clever that Dilip was kept hostage in Delhi itself.
Anjali came to Jaipur so that there is no doubt
Anjali Soni came to Jaipur on 21 May so that no one suspects her. Two days later, Vijay and others in the gang also came to Jaipur after killing Dilip and throwing his body in the drain. They also brought Dilip Sanwaria’s mobile. They kept changing the location by switching on this mobile so that the police and the family could be misled. The last location of Dilip’s mobile in Jaipur was in Kanota area.
After throwing the dead body in the drain, two accused went on a Char Dham Yatra
According to DCP Rashi Dogra, after the murder of Dilip Sanwaria in Delhi, Anjali and her husband Pradeep Goswami came to Jaipur. Whereas, the murderers Vijay Dhanka and Santosh went on a Char Dham Yatra. Meanwhile, Dilip Sanwaria’s son filed a missing report of his father in Galtagate police station on May 28. Then the Galtagate police station started the investigation. In this, raids were conducted at many places in Delhi, Haryana and Uttarakhand. After that Vijay and Santosh were caught in Chamboli. During interrogation, they revealed that they had murdered Dilip Sanwaria and thrown the body wrapped in a bedsheet in a drain near Sultanpuri Majra School in Delhi. On the information given by Vijay and Santosh, Anjali Soni and Pradeep Goswami of the gang were caught from Jaipur.
When he started demanding the money recovered, he got upset and hatched a conspiracy to murder
DCP Rashi Dogra said that e-rickshaw driver’s wife Anjali Soni and her gang target rich people and make them victims of honeytrap. Anjali targeted Dilip Sanwaria of Galtagate in the same way and trapped him in the web of beauty. She had physical relations with him. Then she collected a huge amount from him on the pretext of loan and other reasons. Then Dilip pressurized Anjali to return the money. Troubled by this, Anjali, along with her husband Pradeep and gang members in Delhi, hatched a conspiracy to murder and extort a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. According to that, Anjali Soni first went to Delhi on 3 May. Then on 20 May, after putting a lot of pressure, she called Dilip Sanwaria to Delhi on the pretext of meeting and got him murdered.
The police nabbed the accused in just 10 days
The killers who murdered Dilip Sanwaria in a cunning manner and absconded by travelling to the four Dhams and Anjali and her other accomplices who trapped him in a honeytrap had no idea that they would be caught by the police. But it is said that the police have long hands. Ultimately that is what happened. The Galtagate police station of Jaipur connected the dots and caught the accused within just 10 days.
