The lawyer did this to me in his chamber… a sensational case surfaced in Delhi, FIR registered

What happens when a lawyer, instead of getting justice, starts using his own chamber for wrongdoings. Yes, a similar case has come to light in Delhi. A lawyer has been accused of raping a young woman in his chamber in the Tis Hazari court complex. On the basis of the woman’s complaint, Delhi Police has also registered an FIR.

According to the police, the 21-year-old woman has stated in her complaint that the accused called her to his chamber in Tis Hazari Court premises on July 27 on the pretext of giving her a job and raped her. An officer quoted the woman’s complaint and said that the lawyer threatened her that if she told anyone about this, she would have to face serious consequences and he gave her Rs 1500 and asked her to leave from there. The woman reached home and informed her aunt about the incident, after which she contacted the police. The officer said that a case has been registered at Sabzi Mandi police station and investigation is going on.

After this incident, the possibility of tension between the police and lawyers cannot be ruled out. The police will have to go to the spot to investigate the matter. However, since it is a court complex, this action will not prove to be so easy for the police. Disputes between Delhi Police and lawyers have been seen on many occasions before.
