The latest case is related to Delhi’s Dwarka area. A woman working in every house got so addicted to making reels that she crossed all limits. She got so addicted to the likes and comments of the reels that in the pursuit of becoming a social media influencer, she became something else. Along with working in houses, she started stealing the valuables of the houses.

Police said that a 30-year-old woman working as a domestic help in Dwarka, Delhi has been arrested for stealing gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. Police said that the woman had committed this theft to buy a DSLR camera to make reels. She runs her own YouTube channel. She used to shoot videos from her mobile, but someone told her that if the video is shot with a DSLR camera, its quality is very good. So the woman decided to buy a DSLR camera.

When the woman found out about its price, it was beyond her means to buy the camera because it cost lakhs of rupees. She also asked for money from her relatives to buy the camera, but no one helped her. Finally, the woman decided to arrange the money herself and started stealing valuables from the houses she used to go to clean.

The owner of a bungalow in the posh area of ​​Dwarka lodged a complaint with the police that his house was burglarized on July 15. The owner said that a gold bracelet, a silver chain and silver jewellery were stolen from his house. He also told the police that he suspected that the domestic help who was working in the house a few days before the theft might have committed this crime.

When the police called the woman’s mobile number, it was switched off and her address also turned out to be fake. After scanning the CCTV footage and talking to the local people, the woman’s location was found. When the police reached her, she was trying to escape from Delhi with her bags packed.

During interrogation, she told the police that she is from Rajasthan and her husband is a drug addict. Her husband used to torture her after drinking alcohol. To escape from him, she came to Delhi and started working as a domestic help in houses.

While watching reels on mobile phone, she also got addicted to making reels. She also created a YouTube channel and started posting Instagram reels. During this time, someone advised her to buy a DSLR camera to make reels. The woman planned to steal the camera to raise money.

The burglary cell under the leadership of DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh arrested the woman with the help of CCTV.
