DCP East Lucknow Prabal Pratap Singh said that a person named Ankur Srivastava has been arrested. He has an Audi car worth about one crore. In 2019, his car was damaged in an accident. After the accident, Ankur wanted to sell his car, but in return he was getting only 10 lakh rupees.
So he hatched a conspiracy with his friend Hitesh. He stole his own car and hid. After this, Ankur and Hitesh Audi reached Vibhuti police station to complain of theft. The police have registered a case and started investigation by registering a case. Investigation revealed that Ankur himself stole the car to grab the insurance amount.

DCP East Lucknow Prabal Pratap Singh said that the police searched more than 100 CCTVs installed around Ankur’s house and office to catch the Audi thief. During this, Ankur himself was seen driving his car here and there. When the police did not see any suspicious activity, the police did a trick to catch Ankur.
