At the same time, the victim’s father refused to accept compensation. The trainee doctor’s father said that CM Mamata Banerjee only talks about getting justice.
The mother of the trainee doctor of RG Kar Medical College said that first we got a call from the hospital that your daughter is ill and then the call got disconnected. She further said, ‘After that when I called and asked what happened, they asked me to come to the hospital. When we called again, (the caller) introduced himself as Assistant Superintendent and said that your daughter has committed suicide. She had gone to duty on Thursday, we got this call on Friday at 10:53 am. When we reached there, we were not allowed to see her (daughter). We were allowed to see her at 3 o’clock.’ The mother of the rape and murder victim doctor told sensational things. She said, ‘Her (daughter) pants were open and there was only one piece of cloth on her body. Her hand was broken. Blood was coming out of her eyes and mouth. Just by looking at her, it seemed that someone had killed her. I told them that this is not suicide but murder.’ The deceased doctor’s mother said that he worked very hard to make his daughter a doctor, but she was murdered.

Phone call from CM Mamata Banerjee
The mother of the trainee doctor spoke openly on the phone call of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She said, ‘Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said that the culprit will be arrested as soon as possible, but nothing has happened so far. One person has been arrested. I am sure that many more people are involved in this incident. I think the entire department is responsible for this incident. The police did not do a good job at all. I think the Chief Minister is trying to stop the protest. She has imposed Section 144 here, so that people cannot protest.’ Regarding the Police Commissioner, the victim’s mother said that he did not cooperate with us at all. He just tried to suppress the case as soon as possible. His attempt was to get the post-mortem done as soon as possible and remove the body.
