Jaipur . 17 senior officers of the National Defense College, who attended the 62nd NDC course, met Governor Shri Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
Under the leadership of Mr. Priyank Bharti, Senior Directing Staff (Civil) of the National Defense College from the Governor Mr. Mishra, these officers included Brigadier level officers of the Indian Army, officers of the civil services and one each from Uganda, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. Military officers were involved.
Addressing these officers, Governor Mr. Mishra said that they should try to understand deeply different aspects of the multi-coloured culture and economy of Rajasthan during their one week stay. These officers also interacted with the Governor about the ancient tradition of water conservation in Rajasthan, efforts made to boost employment and tourism during COVID-19 etc.
During this, Principal Secretary to Governor Shri Subir Kumar and Principal Privilege Shri Govind Ram Jaiswal, Joint Secretary to the Government of India Shri Rajiv Ahir were also present.
