After the Lok Sabha election results were declared, efforts to form the government have begun. According to sources, top BJP leaders have spoken to NDA allies. They have been taken into confidence. On the other hand, India Alliance is moving cautiously and will decide on further steps only after talking to the leaders of all the parties. Wednesday is going to be a very important day for both the parties. It will be decided today whether India Alliance will stake claim to form the government or not.
According to BJP sources, after the election results, the top leaders of the party have had a long discussion with the leaders of all the NDA allies. All the parties are ready to form the government under the leadership of Modi. A formal announcement can be made in the NDA meeting to be held on Wednesday. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu are reaching Delhi to attend the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hinted at this while addressing the workers. He said that for the first time after 1962, a government has returned to power for the third consecutive time.
On the other hand, India Alliance is also not behind. According to sources, Congress will be ready to move forward only when its claim to form the government is strong. Congress has no problem in sitting in the opposition, but the allies are putting pressure to try to form the government. It has been decided that Sharad Pawar and Mamta Banerjee will talk to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. At the same time, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other leaders including DK Shivakumar are in touch with Chandrababu. The relations between these leaders are said to be good. However, a decision will be taken unanimously in tomorrow’s meeting.
