A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. In Gola police station area, a husband brutally murdered his wife due to a domestic dispute. According to the information, the accused killed the mill on the head of the wife after a dispute over the money, killing him on the spot. On Tuesday, the police gave information about this heinous incident.
According to police, the 13 -year -old son of the couple was also present on the spot at the time of the murder. When he tried to save his mother, the accused also chased him, although the boy somehow escaped from there and informed the neighbors.
Economic dispute was going on for a long time between the couple
The deceased has been identified as 36 -year -old Asha Bharti. She was working as a teacher at Kasturba Gandhi Girls School. Her husband Ravi Pratap runs a medical store. According to police reports, Ravi Pratap was demanding Rs 15,000 every month from his wife. When Asha refused to give this amount and offered to pay only Rs 5,000, the process of tension and debate between the husband and wife started.
Local people say that there were disputes between the two earlier, but this time the matter became fatal. It was also told that Asha used to spend most of the time in school due to her job, due to which the husband felt lonely and he was also angry about it.
Attack while sleeping, son escaped and saved his life
When Asha was sleeping on the night of the incident, Ravi Pratap allegedly stabbed her head with a mill’s party. Hearing the noise, his 13 -year -old son woke up and tried to stop his father, but the accused scared him and drove him away. The boy immediately ran to the neighbors and informed about the incident. Neighbors immediately rushed to the spot and took the seriously injured Asha to Gorakhpur Medical College, where doctors declared her dead.
Accused still absconding, police conducting raids
After receiving information about the incident, the Gola police station reached the spot and started investigating the case. Station in -charge Anjul Chaturvedi said that an FIR has been lodged against husband Ravi Pratap, accused in the murder of Asha Bharti. At present, the accused is absconding and raids are being conducted at many places in search of him.
This incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the area. The locals are shocked by this ruthless murder and are demanding an early arrest of the accused. Police say the accused will be caught soon and strict legal action will be taken against him.
