Churu. A shocking case has come to light in the Ratangarh police station area of Churu district. Here a man has filed a case of murder of his son through a court petition. The man alleges that his son was killed by his in-laws by giving him poison. The police have registered a case against the accused. The young man died during treatment on April 15. The police is investigating the entire case from all angles.
According to the police, Shravan Kumar Luhar, a resident of Ward No. 34 of Ratangarh, has stated in his complaint that his son Anil was married to Geeta Luhar (24), a resident of Kuntasar village in Sridungargarh tehsil in the year 2022. Geeta did not like his son Anil since the marriage. She kept pressuring him to stay away from the family. After Holi, Anil’s brother-in-law Bhagwanaram called him and called him to Kuntasar.
The in-laws called me
He asked Anil to work in the fields for a few days and then take Geeta with him. Anil told his father that he has been called to his in-laws’ house to work in the fields. After working for 20-25 days, he was asked to send Geeta back. On this, Anil went to his in-laws’ house on 14 April. Shravan Kumar alleges that Anil’s wife and her family members beat him up there. Later, they made him drink poison. This led to his death.
The young man died on 15 April
Shravan says that during treatment in Bikaner hospital, Anil had disclosed to his brothers Jagdish, Karan and Pawan that he was beaten up and poisoned. He died on 15th April during treatment. On the basis of the complaint received from the court, the police have registered a case against Anil’s wife Geeta, father-in-law Pabudan, uncle-in-law Poosaram and brother-in-law Bhagwanaram under various sections including murder and have started investigation. No arrest has been made in this case so far.
