After three years, seven months and 23 days, Imran Khan lost the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly session of Pakistan. With his departure, the road to the post of PM has been opened for the Leader of the Opposition, Shahbaz Sharif. Its formal announcement will also be made after voting in the Pak Parliament tomorrow.

Imran convened a meeting of the core committee

Former Energy Minister Hammad Azhar said peaceful protests would be held across Pakistan at the call of “brave” leader Imran Khan.
It is worth noting that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has filed nomination on behalf of PTI against Shahbaz Sharif for the post of new PM of Pakistan. The National Assembly will now vote on April 11 to elect a successor.
