Khandwa (Representative of New Zealand). In view of the upcoming festivals, intensive checking of vehicles was done in the city on Sunday. Special instructions were given by the Superintendent of Police to the in-charges of Kotwali, Moghat, Padmanagar and traffic police stations regarding vehicle checking. At four places in the city, the vehicles were suddenly stopped and interrogated by the police. This caused a stir among the drivers.
In the coming days, there is Mahashivratri and Holi festival. Regarding this, Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh has directed the city and rural police station in-charges to conduct intensive checking. Regarding this, at around 7:30 pm on Sunday, Subedar Devendra Singh Parihar, the in-charge of the traffic station, along with his stop, kept checking the vehicles by stopping the vehicles at the Municipal Corporation intersection. Here the traffic policemen stopped the vehicles passing through the intersection. Challans were made after stopping the vehicles without number and questioning. Due to the police action, there was a crowd at the intersection.

Similarly, Moghat police station in-charge Ishwar Singh Chauhan checked the vehicles in front of Rameshwar outpost. Here outpost in-charge Rajendra Sahde and outpost policemen stopped the vehicles and interrogated them. Kotwali outpost in-charge Baljit Singh checked at Mansingka Mill Tirahe. Here too, action was taken by stopping vehicles without numbers. Along with this, action was also taken against the youths roaming on three bikes.
