India’s 6 wheeled ‘scientist’ will run on the moon
The minister said, ‘Our expertise in the field of space has increased tremendously. Now India does not have to wait much to kiss the moon. The Union minister said that after landing on the moon, the six-wheeled rover of Chandrayaan-3 will come out of the lander and it is expected to work on the lunar surface for 14 days. Singh told that with the help of many cameras mounted on the rover, we will be able to get pictures.
Giving credit to PM Modi for breaking earlier taboos in the space sector, Singh said several important agreements related to the space sector were signed during the PM’s recent visit to the US, reported TOI. This shows that the country which started space journey long before India, today also wants to join India on an equal footing. He further said that the way the growth is taking place, India’s space sector can become a $1 trillion economy in the coming years. In 2020, India’s share in the world’s space economy was only 2.1 percent. The complete budget of Chandrayaan-3 mission is Rs 615 crore.

landing at sunrise
Interestingly, the date for the soft-landing of the vehicle is decided on the basis of when the moon rises. When landing, there should be sunlight. There is sunlight on the moon for 14-15 days and there is no sunlight for the next 14-15 days.
