There is a ban on hitting sixes, if a batsman hits a six then he will be out, the reason will surprise you

New Delhi. You must have heard about the ban on hitting sixes in street cricket, but now the clubs of England have also decided to ban hitting sixers. Southwick and Shoreham Cricket Club has banned batsmen from hitting sixes. This ban has been imposed due to the complaint lodged after damage to the property of the people living around the ground. Now in the match, the batsman who hits a six on behalf of the club will be declared out.

Southwick and Shoreham Cricket Club treasurer Mark Broxup has informed about the rule of banning sixes. The decision has been taken to avoid financial losses due to insurance claims and legal proceedings. Vehicles and property of people living near the stadium were being damaged due to sixes. A complaint was lodged regarding this and the club took this decision to avoid compensation.

Broxup said, “Earlier cricket was played in a very peaceful environment but after the advent of T20 and ODI, aggression has started to appear in this game. Due to this, the property of people living near the stadium has started getting damaged. An 80-year-old man said that nowadays the batsmen have become more enthusiastic about hitting big shots, due to which the stadium has started to become too small.

You will get warning on the first six, then out

After the new rule of the cricket club, now the batsman will get a warning after hitting the first six. No run will be given to the batsman for hitting a six. Even after getting the warning, if the batsman hits a six, he will be declared out. The batsmen are unhappy with the implementation of this rule by the club.
