Due to this, the day has started feeling like May-June heat. The strong winds blowing amidst the bright sunshine are giving a feeling of heat wave. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned that there may be a change in the weather on March 24. There may be rain in some areas of the state due to the effect of a weak western disturbance becoming active on Sunday, March 24.
According to the Meteorological Department, at present the maximum temperature in the south-western parts of the state is being recorded 2-3 degrees Celsius above the average. The highest day temperature recorded in Phalodi on Friday was 39.2 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Barmer it was 39.1 degrees Celsius. Except Sangriya of Hanumangarh, the maximum temperature in the rest of Rajasthan remains above 30 degrees. Only in Sangria it stands at 29.6. There is no possibility of any significant change in temperature in the next 2-3 days.
Chances of rain in Bikaner and Jaipur divisions
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of a weak western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle with thunder at some places in Bikaner and Jaipur divisions of Western and Northern Rajasthan on March 24. In most of the remaining parts, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry for the next two-three days. After that, another new western disturbance is likely to be effective in the north-western and northern parts on 26-27 March.
