Ghoda Pachhad River is a tributary of Mangali River. It starts from the plateau region of Bijolia in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan and passes through the rocky region of Namana.

According to experts, there are many legends behind the name of Ghodha Pachhad river which flows through the rocky area of ​​Bundi district. According to Omprakash Kukki, an expert on the history of the area, the Ghodha Pachhad river which starts from the plateau region of Bijolia flows through the rocky area and hence the water flowing in it flows at a fast speed. Since the river is perennial, water always flows in it.

Due to the accumulation of algae at the bottom of the river, it becomes extremely slippery
Due to this, the rocks at the bottom of the river become extremely slippery due to the accumulation of moss. Historians say that in the 13th century, the army of Mandu Sultan came on horses to attack the Bundi kingdom. But those horses could not move forward due to the moss deposited on the surface of the river. Due to the slippery moss, they fell into the river water. The army along with the horses were swept away by the strong flow of water.

After that it was named Ghodha Pachhad River, meaning the river that can even defeat horses. Historian Rajkumar Dadhich says that it is named Ghodha Pachhad Padna because the speed of the river water is as fast as that of a horse. According to him, due to originating from a rocky area, the flow of the river water is also as fast as the speed of a horse. This river merges with the Taleda River near Saatheli village.

After passing through many rivers, it finally merges with the Chambal River
After that, the Taleda river merges with the Mangali river near Sagawada village. Then it transforms into the Kurel river. This river merges with the Mej river near Bhaiskheda village. The Mej river merges with the Chambal river near Pali village. However, many stories come up about the river and its history. But this name of the river surprises everyone. The river is not very big.
