Share Market News: The Indian stock market closed with gains on Thursday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex today closed at 74,339.44 with a gain of 0.66 per cent or 486.50 points. At the time of market closing, out of 30 Sensex shares, 22 shares were on the green mark and 8 shares were on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty closed at 22,570.35 today with a gain of 0.75 percent or 167.95 points. At the time of market closing, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 40 shares were on the green mark and 10 shares were on the red mark.
There was a rise in these shares
Among the 50 stocks of Nifty pack, the biggest rise on Thursday was in Axis Bank by 6.04 per cent, SBI by 5.03 per cent, Dr Reddy’s by 5.03 per cent, Nestle India by 2.47 per cent and Hero MotoCorp by 2.44 per cent. Apart from this, the biggest decline was seen in Kotak Bank by 10.73 per cent, LTI Mindtree by 1.90 per cent, HUL by 1.13 per cent, Titan by 1.10 per cent and SBI Life by 1.03 per cent.
There is a lot of growth in public sector banks
Talking about sectoral indices, the highest rise was seen in Nifty PSU Bank index on Thursday. It closed today with a gain of 3.77 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Pharma index fell 1.57 per cent, Nifty Healthcare index 1.38 per cent, Nifty Metal 1.11 per cent, Nifty Auto 1.27 per cent, Nifty Bank 0.63 per cent, Nifty Financial Services 0.48 per cent, Nifty FMCG 0.67 per cent, Nifty IT 0.33 percent, Nifty Media 0.48 percent, Nifty Private Bank 0.13 percent, Nifty Oil & Gas 0.71 percent and Nifty Midsmall Healthcare 0.21 percent. Apart from this, a decline of 0.43 percent was recorded in Nifty Consumer Durables and 0.25 percent in Nifty Realty.
