Coconut Laddu Recipe

Coconut laddus are rich in nutrients like iron, fiber, protein and calcium, which help in keeping the body healthy. Coconut laddu contains abundant amount of calcium which is beneficial for bones and also relieves back pain. If you make coconut laddu in jaggery instead of sugar then it is just icing on the cake. Ingredients for Coconut Laddu
Half kilo coconut, 300 grams acacia gum, 100 grams cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts, raisins, half kilo jaggery, and half kilo ghee.
How to make Coconut Laddu
Step 1: To make coconut laddu, first take half a kilo of coconut, peel the upper brown part and grind it (instead of grinding, you can cut it into small pieces and grind it in a grinder jar).
Second step: Now turn on the gas and place a pan on it and add half a cup of ghee in it. Now fry cashews, almonds, walnuts and raisins in this ghee until they turn golden. Fry the raw coconut that you have grinded using a grinder till it becomes light golden. Now take out the coconut from the pan.
Third step: Now add 300 grams of acacia gum and half a kilo of jaggery in the same pan and let it melt. Cook until both melt.
Fourth step: While the jaggery and gum are melting, grind the roasted dry fruits in a grinder. When jaggery and acacia gum melt well, then add roasted coconut powder and ground dry fruits to it. When all the ingredients are mixed well then turn off the gas.
Fifth step: When the laddu mixture cools down a bit, take it in your hands and start tying the laddus. After making the laddus, wrap them well in grated coconut. Your delicious coconut laddu is ready.
