Easy Besan Laddu Recipe:
step 1- To make gram flour laddus, take a heavy bottom pan and add ghee to it and let it heat up. As soon as the ghee melts, add gram flour. Now roast the gram flour by stirring it continuously. Keep the flame of the gas high in the beginning and then while stirring the gram flour, reduce the flame to medium.
Step 2- As the gram flour is roasted it will become thinner. Roast the gram flour well till it turns brown. During this time keep the flame of the gas medium because the gram flour starts burning on high flame.
Step 3- When the gram flour is roasted, it will start giving out fragrance and will start leaving ghee. The gram flour will start swelling up. When this starts happening, turn off the gas and keep stirring the gram flour in the pan from time to time so that it does not burn from the bottom. You can also take it out in another vessel. This will make the gram flour cool down quickly.
Step 4- Now roast the semolina in a pan by adding 2 spoons of ghee and mix it with the gram flour. When the roasted gram flour cools down, add the powdered sugar and mix. Keep in mind that if you mix the powdered sugar in hot gram flour, it will become thin. Sometimes there are lumps in the powdered sugar, so filter it before adding it.
Step 5- If you want to mix dry fruits in besan laddu, then chop the dry fruits and then mix them in the prepared mixture. Mix all the things well with your hands. Now take a ball of dough and make it round. Shape it like a laddu.
Step 6- Prepare all the gram flour laddus in the same way. Keep them in a glass or steel vessel after 1-2 hours. Gram flour laddus made with desi ghee do not spoil even for 10-15 days. You can eat laddus whenever you feel like eating something sweet. You can also try this recipe on festivals.
