Wayanad Rescue operation Update News: Today marks 9 days since the disaster struck Wayanad in Kerala. But still hundreds of eyes are hoping to find their loved ones. Rescue operations are underway by the Air Force, Army and state authorities in the landslide-affected areas. Along with the Army, people are also involved in this operation who are searching for their loved ones in the rubble. 1,026 personnel from various forces including Army and Navy and more than 500 volunteers and a large number of machinery have been deployed to search for the missing people.

It is a matter of relief that even after so many days, the separated people are meeting. Due to which the ray of hope is becoming stronger among the people. Two friends Mujeeb and Jayesh, who were separated in the devastating landslide in Wayanad on Tuesday, met each other again after about a week. Both the persons had no information about each other. It was an emotional moment when they met and they hugged each other tightly and remembered their friendship.

Mujeeb said, “We are neighbours. We are meeting each other after eight days. I did not know if he was alive and he also did not know if I was alive or not.”
