Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal had given information about some features of the electric scooter just a few days ago. According to the post on Twitter, the upcoming scooter will come with features like maximum boot space, app based keyless access and segment leading range. You can book this scooter for just Rs 499.
According to Ola, electric scooters require a strong charging network. The company claims that their charging network will be the largest charging network. In which two-wheelers can also be charged. For this, 1 lakh charging points will be made in 400 cities in the country. This charging network will be so capable that in just 18 minutes this scooter can be charged up to 50 percent. After which it will give a range of up to 75 km. However, no disclosure has been made by the company about its price so far.
The Ola Electric Scooter will compete with the Bajaj Chetak in India. Currently Bajaj Chetak is available in two variants in the market. Which was launched in the market with a price of one lakh. Bajaj Chetak currently gives a range of up to 95 kms. The most important thing about Bajaj Chetak is that if you have the key of the scooter, then you can start it without even putting the key. For this you only have to press a button.
