New Delhi. Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari, a businessman from Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district in Gujarat, along with his wife, has decided to give up worldly life and take up sanyasa. Bhavesh has donated his wealth worth millions of dollars and has adopted a life of sacrifice. Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari was born in a prosperous family and grew up with all the comforts and luxuries. He often met seekers and spiritual gurus of the Jain community.
Two years ago, Bhavesh Bhai’s 16-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter decided to take initiation and live the ascetic life. After the initiation of his son and daughter in 2022, Bhavesh Bhai and his wife have also decided to adopt sannyasa life. Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari has turned his back on worldly attachments and has donated assets worth more than Rs 2 billion. He left the building business and his job in Ahmedabad to become an aspirant.
Dilip Gandhi, a close acquaintance, said that initiation has great importance in the Jain community. An initiated person earns a living by begging for alms, giving up luxuries such as air conditioning, fans and mobile phones, and traveling barefoot across India. Bhavesh Bhai of Sabarkantha, who is going to become a monk, took out a grand procession in Himmatnagar. During this time he donated all his property. The donation amount was more than Rs 2 billion. The procession was about four kilometers long.

Another acquaintance Dikul Gandhi told that on April 22, 35 people from Himmatnagar will start the monastic life together at the Himmatnagar Riverfront. The Bhandari family of Himmatnagar is also a part of this group. It can be said that only that person has the right to live an ascetic life who has renounced property worth millions of dollars. It is noteworthy that the decision of Bhavarlal Jain, owner of property worth crores, to become a contender was also much discussed. He also decided to give up his property worth millions of dollars and live an ascetic life.
