A doctor from Government Medical College Kannauj is giving information about these questions to AnyTV. Senior Gynecologist Dr. Amrita Saha-

How is this disease treated?
Dr. Amrita Saha She says that, if we talk about its treatment, then first of all the uterus of the woman suffering from endometriosis is examined. This examination is done through laparoscopy in the uterus. Laparoscopic surgery is done to remove endometrial tissue. In this surgery, the condition inside the uterus is detected with a small camera, in which the endometriotic parts inside the pelvis are removed or burned with the help of laser. There is a possibility of it reappearing after surgery. And sometimes multiple surgeries may also have to be done. Sometimes a surgery called hysterectomy is also done to treat this disease. In which along with removing the uterus and cervix, both the ovaries are also removed. Therefore, do not be careless about any such disease. Take medicines regularly as per the doctor’s advice.
