Public sector Punjab National Bank on Monday introduced a special debit card, PNB Antar Drishti Braille Debit Card, keeping in mind the convenience of visually impaired customers. This card is easily recognizable due to its contrasting colors, which makes it easy for visually impaired customers to read the card details. According to Bhasha news, this is a contactless NCMC (National Common Mobility Card) debit card. This will be very convenient for visually impaired customers.
Welcome kit also has Braille dots
According to the news, the PNB Antar Drishti Braille Debit Card aims to enhance financial independence and convenience for visually impaired persons, enabling them to manage their finances with greater ease and confidence. Raised Braille dots (PNB in Braille), the brand name PNB is prominently embossed on this debit card, making it easier for visually impaired customers to differentiate between PNB and other banks’ cards. Also, the welcome kit that comes with the debit card will also be in Braille dots. This debit card has a round notch on the opposite side of the chip. This lets the card holder know the direction of the card while inserting the card in the ATM / POS.
Glossy spot UV lamination effect
This debit card has a glossy spot UV lamination effect with raised texture on the Bank’s logo and silk screen rough spot UV on the contactless symbol. This helps visually impaired customers to easily locate the Bank’s logo and read the contactless symbol on the card, making it easier for them to use the debit card. This debit card is easily recognizable due to its contrasting colors, making it easier for visually impaired customers to read the card details.
How much cash can I withdraw in a day
Customers can get the PNB Antardrishti Braille Debit Card from any of the nearest PNB branches. The daily withdrawal limit from this card is Rs 25,000. Apart from this, the daily POS/Ecom limit (joint) is Rs 60,000. Contactless transactions allow personal transactions of up to Rs 5000 per day without PIN at NFC enabled POS terminals.
